Our first class and whole group meeting went very well and was very memorable. I was a bit nervous entering it on Wednesday, but after the session was completed, i felt much better with the material. Questions were answered, nerves were gone, and relationships were made. My first group meeting was very informative. We all introduced ourselves briefly and asked a lot of questions. And believe me there were a lot. I still am a bit nervous about this course because i do like to have that one-on-one relationship with my professor, but after my group and class meeting, my nerves were calmed. I felt very relaxed while in my class and group chat. Everyone was very informative and nice. I think we all have some type of hesitation when learning with technology, but hopefully this course will ease my trepidation with it and be a catalyst to trying to learn with it even more in the future.
Learning with technology is a very empowering tool, one that i wish i had realized years ago. I find it unbelievable the different amounts of things that i can do on a computer. I can watch movies, download different types of software, talk to people that live in different parts of the world, and not to mention shopping. Technology is also a great tool for learning-one that was practiced this week as well as the upcoming ones. I am very excited to start on this technological adventure and believe i will walk out of this class with so much empowering information and knowledge from not only my class meetings but from my peers in my group as well!
