Monday Mania!! Too Much Strain for My Brain!

Soooo another Monday has come and gone. Many questions were asked, and most of them were resolved. My group, Literacy Learning Ladies talked about a lot. We started talking about the You Tube video, "Education, A Lesson in History," on how they predict that in a few years down the road, China will be the largest nation in the world that will speak the most English. WHAT!!! Is that even possible? It also talked about how in our schools, we are training and teaching students things required for jobs that do not even exist yet. This video was very eye-opening and a bit scary.
My group is presenting Wednesday and finished up some final touches for it. Then we discussed the WebQuest assignment due Sunday, which made everyone fluster. We divided the constructivist questions up between all of our group members and decided who was working with who. After it was all said and done, I believe everyone felt a bit better about what is to be expected in this upcoming week. There are a lot of different assignments due for this class, but I be live that because of our weekly group meetings, questions get answered and doubts erase. I still feel overwhelmed with this course, but am feeling better every week with it. Too bad it is only a five week course!
